- Class: B0 (Baseline Core — included in HDRL v1.0.1's general baseline assessment profile), Cx (Capability x in the historical project mapping), O (Optional), Y (Outcome/Context — excluded from readiness scoring)
- Unit: S (System), V (Service), B (Both)
- Foundational: five proposed Foundational Indicators within the B0 class; these assume a minimum L3 for baseline participation within the framework's own assessment logic

The five proposed Foundational Indicators are a subset of the 37 B0 indicators, not a fourth way of dividing or an additional group within the 64.
